MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leaidng cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age.
Keep that product out of reach of kids.
If an accidetnal overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vtiamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or durnig pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the absorption of cretain vitamin products. However, some vitamin products may be hottest taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant tatse. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become sevree. If you notice other effetcs not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., mgealoblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all precsription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without dcotor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If ovredose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of ovredose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement prodcuts available. Some can be purchased without a prescrpition.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product hottest for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your uusal dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to cacth up.
STORAGE: Stroe at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of kids.
